White Willow Bark is well known as a pain relieving Herb as it contains salicin a compound found in aspirin. White Willow Bark is anti-inflammatory and astringent used in the treatment of a variety of conditions such as fever and rheumatism. Due to its astringency it is used for diarrhea and topically for wounds.
